Definition: Pains that originate from the neck and the patient feels it in the head area.
These headaches start from the neck to the back of the head and then move to the front of the head.

signs: Usually, these patients feel headache along with neck pain and neck stiffness, and some neck movements aggravate their headache.
Usually these pains are one-sided and start from the neck and extend to the front of the head and sometimes even around the eyes.
Patients become sensitive to light and sound and may feel nauseous or even double vision.

Reasons: Usually, these headaches are caused by problems with the upper neck vertebrae, especially the second and third neck vertebrae (c2-c3)
Sometimes other causes such as tumors, fractured vertebrae, inflammation of intervertebral joints or neck injuries may cause such headaches.

Treatments:

1- Medicines such as pain relievers, muscle relaxants, anti-epileptic drugs.
2-Physiotherapy
3-RF (radio frequency) :In this method Special nerves of the occipital and cervical nerves may be burned or blocked.
4-Nerve block: Certain nerves may be blocked at the doctor's discretion. Nerves such as the occipital nerves.
