Using ozone gas in therapeutic concentrations to treat joint wear, sports injuries, disc herniation (ozone nucleolysis). Ozone gas exerts its therapeutic effects by having analgesic and regenerative (restorative) properties and activating the immune system. - Disc herniation: Certain types of discs can be treated by injecting ozone into the disc. Of course, this procedure is performed in completely sterile conditions, in the hospital and with the help of the c-arm device on an outpatient basis (without anesthesia and only local anesthesia).
After injecting ozone into the disc, it takes 2 to 4 weeks for the protruding part of the disc to gradually recede.
- Abrasion of the joints: Another use of ozone is its intra-articular injection, of course, in order to achieve the greatest therapeutic effect in these cases, the injection sessions must be repeated between 3 and 5 times with specific time intervals.
