One of the bursas that is commonly injured and inflamed is the bursa located between the deltoid muscle and the rotator cuff tendon, which results from excessive pressure on these muscles, such as lifting heavy objects or repetitive movements that require lifting. have a hand, will be injured.

Symptoms: Painful movement of the shoulder, especially when trying to raise or move the hand behind the head. Pain caused by inflammation of this bursa may spread to the outer surface of the arm.

Diagnosis: It is often based on physical examination and disease history, and of course, in suspicious cases, ultrasound and MRI can help us.

Treatment: - Anti-inflammatory drugs and reducing pressure on the bursa by immobilizing the shoulder are the first steps of treatment.
- In the next stage, physiotherapy and strengthening and stretching movements specific to the disease
- Taping can be part of the treatment.
- Injection of anti-inflammatory drugs inside the bursa and around the tendon of the shoulder muscles, if conservative treatments do not work. It is better to perform this injection under ultrasound guidance to increase accuracy.
- In cases where anatomical problems have led to the occurrence of this disease, surgery may be considered.
